Deposit and Balance Payments
Bookings must be paid in full in cash at the end of your completed event. The only exclusion from this clause is where we have agreed, in writing, to take payment after the event by invoice; the invoice will show the full amount due. We request that all invoices are paid within 7 days.
Once a cash payment has been handed to your entertainer we are unable to request any refund from this payment, please only pay in full if you are fully satisfied with the service your entertainer has provided.
We do not accept payments by cheque unless agreed in advance.
We accept deposit by card or PayPal only, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
VAT is applied to all deposits paid to Simply Unique Entertainment. VAT will not be applied to the cash balances paid to your entertainer. If a balance is paid to Simply Unique Entertainment Ltd VAT will be applied.
Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking for any reason, you may lose your deposit.
More than 7 days notice:
If you need to cancel a booking with more than 7 days notice and would like to re-book within 3 months of the date of your party, then we can do so subject to availability and a £35 re-booking fee. You confirm this by sending an email to email@example.com or writing to Simply Unique Entertainment Ltd, 26 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, ME19 4AE.
Less than 7 days notice:
If you need to cancel a booking with less than 7 days notice you may forfeit your deposit. We may offer to re-book you in within 3 months of the date of your original party for 50% of the value of your original deposit paid.
Less than 24 hours notice:
If you cancel a booking with less than 24 hours' notice you will forfeit your deposit and the full party balance may be requested.

In the extremely unlikely event of our entertainer being unable to attend your booking, we will refund your deposit in full and discuss non-compulsory compensation. If we are late to your party we will offer a discount on your balance or arrange to stay extra if possible. If we are unable to provide at least 45 minutes of entertainment then we will reduce your balance and refund your deposit in full except on 1 hour parties where 30 minutes of entertainment applies before a refund of your deposit can be requested. If we are late due to no parking, difficult access or factors that we requested to be informed about in advance then a refund cannot be requested.
All booking confirmations must be checked in full by the client, please check all the details, especially the date of the party, the start and finish time, the party address and your contact number
Simply Unique Entertainment Ltd will not be held accountable for any mistakes that go unnoticed on your booking confirmation
Playlists & Booking instructions/requests For Entertainer
Please email your playlist & booking instructions/requests to email@example.com at least one week before your party date. We will reply by email to confirm this has been received and we recommend as a precaution that you check your entertainer has received this during your courtesy call or SMS.
Safety, Outside bookings, Parking and Access To Party Venue
You must ensure that a responsible adult is present at all times for any children's events
Simply Unique Entertainment Ltd will not be held responsible for any accidents that occur, at an event, for which why are not liable; i.e. do not involve our entertainers or equipment
Although we will be as careful as possible please not If your booking includes use of the Snow or Bubble Machine, you should be aware that the floor can become slippery during use. Whilst we will do our best to keep the floor dry and warn of any danger, we will not be held responsible for any slips or falls that may result
Please note that if any children who appear to be under the age of 3 are present in the games area, we may not be able to run games or may need to abort a current game in progress for safety reasons, this is not applicable for pre-school's or 3rd birthdays.
Unless informed otherwise, we will assume your party is on ground floor level and no more than 20 metres from where we are parked. No discounts are offered for bookings that are not on the ground floor or more than 20 metres from where we are parked/un-loading from.
You must inform us in advance if access to the venue is difficult. You must also inform us of any parking restrictions, car park charges or similar issues, or whether we are required to lift equipment upstairs. Circumstances, such as the aforementioned, may result in a delayed start if we cannot get to the venue with ease
Car parking costs must be covered by the client or party organiser. Your entertainer will hand you a receipt for the parking.
Outside bookings are possible if agreed in advance. Appropriate coverings, such as a gazebo or marquee must be provided at the expense of and by the client, this is to protect the entertainer's equipment from sun damage or any sudden rain showers that may occur.
Changes to your booking
Any changes to a booking must be requested by email. Acceptance of change will be made by return email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Changes to date or times may be refused if we are unable to accommodate the change

Please be aware that the office is closed on Saturday's & Sunday's. If you have an urgent query regarding your booking outside of our opening hours over your party weekend or weekday please call the emergency out of hours line on 07788 894801 for support, we also have a 2nd emergency number which is 07775 771888.
Entertainer DBS & PLI, Equipment information, Outsourcing & Website
Standard Department of Barring and Disclosure (DBS) certificates are requested to be updated for every entertainment disco entertainer and renewed every 4 years. The entertainer has signed a disclaimer to say they have a DBS certificate in place. A copy of the entertainer's certificate can be requested once you have booked and we have scheduled your entertainer.
All entertainers are working on a self-employed basis for Fun At Kids Party and responsible for sourcing their own Public Liability Insurance and have signed a disclaimer letter to state that they have this cover in place.
We very rarely require to outsource an entertainer to your booking, depending on the individual circumstances we may be unable to notify you of this in advance.
We hope that all out our clients are 100% satisfied with their entertainment, however, we understand that issues beyond our control can happen from time to time.

We will respond to acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24 hours Mon-Fri, we will respond to your complaint in full within 7 working days.
Special offers and discounts:
An early start and mid-week discount can be refused in some areas. Discounts can also be refused for bookings that have no adequate parking, require us to carry equipment upstairs or for having more than the maximum number of children permitted on each disco or for any other reason we deem appropriate.
FUN At Kids Party is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We have structured our web site so that, in general, you can visit us on the web without having to identify yourself or reveal any personal information.
Once you choose to provide us with identifiable information, you can be assured that it will only be used to support your relationship with Fun At Kids Party.
Awareness Fun At Kids Party provides this Online Privacy Statement to make you aware of our practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
What we collect
On portions of our web site, you can make requests or register to receive further information. The types of personal information collected on these pages are currently name and email address. In order to tailor our subsequent communications to you and continuously improve our offerings (including registration), we may also ask you to provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, and more detailed contact preferences.
How we use it
Fun At Kids Party uses your information to better understand your needs and provide you with a better service. Specifically, we use your information to communicate back to you, to update you on offers, and to improve our web site.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes or to provide you with marketing information which we think would be of particular interest. At a minimum, we will always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving such direct marketing or market research communication. Fun At Kids Party will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others unless we have your permission or are required to by law. We will only share the personal data you provide online with business partners and/or those who are acting on our behalf for market research. Such business partners will be governed by our privacy policies with respect to the use of this data and will be bound by the appropriate confidentiality agreements.
Data collected online may also be combined with other information you may provide for us from other offerings within Fun At Kids Party.
Fun At Kids Party will not use or share the personal identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without first letting you know and offering you a choice. As previously stated, we will also provide you the opportunity to let us know if you do not wish to receive unsolicited direct marketing materials, and we will do everything we can to honor such requests in a timely fashion.
